Vince is a licensed marriage and family therapist with thirty five years of experience providing supervisory, clinical, managerial and consulting services in clinical community mental health settings.
He specializes in adjustment disorder, bereavement, post-traumatic stress, intermittent explosiveness, psychosis, schizophrenia, personality disorders, homicidal/suicidal ideation, crisis intervention, psychiatric rehabilitation, clients’ rights advocacy, client centered psychotherapy, family systems psychotherapy, cognitive psychotherapy, existential psychotherapy, transpersonal psychotherapy, thanatology and ethics and has worked as a victim/offender court mediator and custody evaluator in high conflict cases.
Vince was born and raised in Ohio before moving to California to complete AA, BA and MS degrees in religious studies and counseling and has extensive firsthand experience in world religions.
He provides counseling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults and family systems from a client centered perspective, and strongly advocates for anyone worried about privacy, stigma or distrust in social workers and psychiatrists. Vince is keenly aware of some of the concerns about social services and became involved in this field to stand up for clients who shared the same concerns.
